About 2 miles from Cedar Fort Utah, there is a tree in the middle of a wheat field. I have frequently observed this tree as I drive past on my way to visit my horses and have thought about photographing it. At the closest point, this tree is about .5 mile away from the nearest road. Hiking through knee-deep snow was not a simple task, but well worth the effort.

While exploring an abandoned cattle stockyard, I discovered this gate hinge.  It gives feeling of lonely abandonment and disuse.
